The Confirmation class of St John the Evangelist will host a spectacular Charity Famiy Quiz Night on
Saturday 13th March at 7.15p.m in the Church Hall. A wholesome and tasty ploughman’s supper is included in the ticket price and you are free to bring whatever you'd like to drink.

The bishop had a very successful visit to St John's in June 2009, for the parish's First Holy Communion celebrations.
After Mass, the bishop confirmed Paula Matthews in a warm and moving ceremony.
He then joined parishioners in the hall for a well-attended party, enjoying the chance to chat and light refreshment.
Finally, he presented a Papal Medal to Margaret Tickner, recognising her service to the parish community over many years.
